THE RESIDENTS OF WILDWOOD RD, RAWLS 1 & 2, EDWARDS CIRCLE

The Mitford Rural District advises the residents of Wildwood RD, Rawls 1 & 2, and Edwards circle, located in Fairfield County, to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking.
A major line break in the Mitford Rural Water District system has resulted in a loss of pressure and service to many of the customers of the system. There has been no confirmed contamination of the system. However, because of the loss of pressure, customers are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking untill otherwise notified by the Mitford Rural Water District. Also, any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
